tang.

The last two images are of my "mask" from a masquearade party I went to over the weekend... the only problem with my brilliant idea is that i spent the whole night hugging with my face away from people and removing hair from my face with the precision of a nail technician. And even so it did look a little smudgy. Also it meant that when I went from the house party to town I had to make a quick stop at my house to wash it all off, to avoid looking like a freak in clubs :)
The first collection of images are from my archives, as I have been too busy the last few days to take any of my own. I excuse myself for the last picture as m face appears quite terminator-like. But I have mentioned in earlier posts that I'm not very photogenic.
The cream lace top was another of those I have rescued from my backroom, to wear only once more and then decide to give it away again. Oh well at least it got one last hoorah if people still say that these days :)

For my sweetheart the drunk...

Days after I have started my blog is probably not a good time to realise that I am not very photogenic... I can like what I am wearing but somehow as soon as I try to capture it, I look like the photo equivalent of rolling out of bed after a hard night out, with left over toast crumbs on my scruffy pjs. Which just describes what happened yesterday :). But I am going to continue with this blog in the vain hope I will one day take a picture that equals the picture I have in my mind. The photos above are my attempt at weird body angles that might look good (apparently not). And if you think I look like I'm falling over in some of them...that is because I am.

The day started out sunny....

Lately I have been veering away from my black semi-punk personna and have found myself choosing clothes that are more feminine. I didnt even notice the transition myself. But here I am wearing the bright coral top that I coveted for weeks, on a day that screams drab-and-boring no less. I love anything that has a frill in an unexpected place, but it was the back of this top I fell in love with. It shows off less skin then a normal singlet would but it somehow makes me feel as if I am baring more. Although these pictures have made me realise I definetly need to work on my tan when summer comes around again.

A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins With a Single Step

My name is Emma and these are my baby steps into the blogging world that I am so utterly enthralled with. Now I'm not an outsider but a part of something. Some people may not like what I wear but I cant impress everyone :) So here it is and I hope you enjoy.

I feel like I have been cleaning out my wardrobe for the past year and there are huge piles of clothes, shoes and handbags in the back room waiting to be sold when I can get up the energy to go to a swap meet. Surprisingly these piles seem to contain more clothes then what my wardrobe could have held and yet there is still clothes in there. Some things I can not part with for some reason, there are dregs of clothes that I dont know if I like anymore but they still remain on their black hangers in my closet. I always say one day I'll wear them....one day. Well today was one of those days. This skirt I have been umm-ing and ahh-ing for ages, placing it in the elusive back room, only to rescue it again moments later. So I put it to you my new audience, save or sell?
